Here’s a sample of my summer to-be-read pile!
What books are you looking forward to reading this summer?
I’m looking forward to read Kate Meader’s Sparking the Fire, JL Merrow’s Blow Down & Katie Ruggle’s Gone Too Deep. That’s just to name a few as I tend to forget release date of books I’m looking forward to. 🙂
Me too, Didi! Those sound like wonderful recommendations. Enjoy!
There are so many books I’m looking forward to reading, including a couple of Mercedes Lackey’s Elemental Masters books and Jean Johnson’s “V’dan”, as well as Sylvia Day’s “One With You”.
They sound like great reads, Elf! Will have to check out the first two as I’m not familiar with those authors.
I am looking forward for Jill Shalvis’ new series, Christine Feehan new series, and a few of stand-alone novels
Awesome, Ami! I’m always tempted to wait with a new series so I can read a couple at once but usually I jump right in.
I’ve just received an ARC of Smoke and Mirrors by Charlie Cochet…can’t WAIT to read it!!
Will have to check this one out, Lee! Coincidentally, I just finished reading a book called Smoke and Mirrors by a different author!
I have no place for any particular book, just what ever looks best at the time I’m ready to start one. I don’t read any particular genres or type of book in the summer.
I love the know-it-when-you-see-it approach, Anne! I hope your summer is full of wonderful books!
Too many to mention and I keep finding new ones. I just finished Allegience of Honor by Nalini Singh and just started The Pursuit by Janet Evonovich
Two authors I’ve read also, Donna! I hope they fill the summer with many well spent hours.
I’m looking forward to reading ASKING FOR TROUBLE and HERE COMES TROUBLE by Anna Stewart.
Enjoy, Michele! I love getting book recommendations and will definitely check out this author.
I’m looking forward to reading Sarina Bowen’s True North series, as well as Elle Kennedy’s Addicted. Erin Watt’s Broken Prince, too! I’ll finally have some free time come July, so my TBR pile is growing every day!
Enjoy your free time, Zeljka! I loved Bowen’s Ivy Years series and Kennedy’s Off-Campus series. As well as they’re jointly written series. So will def check out Erin Watt.
Just what ever book catches my attention at the moment
I hope some good ones catch your eye, Jean! There are so many great books out there in all genres.
Romance along with a bit of mystery is what I am enjoying reading this summer. HEA’s are my favorite.
They’re mine too, Jackie. I much prefer happy endings. And if they come with some mystery or suspense I’m a happy, happy reader.
Tara Lain’s BEAUTY, INC. sounds good, and I’m waiting for Damon Suede to finish HARD HEAD!
Loved Damon Suede’s Hot Head, Trix! Can’t wait for Hard Head!!!
Most looking forward to the 10th Charley Davidson novel!
Lindsay, I’ve heard so many great things about Darynda Jones and her Charley Davidson series. One of these days I swear I’m going to pick up one of her books.
Defender by Diana Palmer.
Great pic, Karen! Enjoy!
I agree with the other poster who mentioned Damon Suede’s Hard Head! LOVED Hot Head and have been waiting impatiently for more!
I agree, Joder! Hopefully good things come to those who wait, or are forced to wait for the next book!
MY FAVORITE SUMMER READ IS 3 BAD BOYS FOR 3 BRIDES BY LUCY MONROE
Sounds very intriguing Tiffany! Will definitely check it out!
I’m looking forward to reading Smoke & Mirrors (THIRDS) by Charlie Cochet. Thanks!
That’s a second rec for this one, Jen! And I checked it out and I can’t get it on ibooks. Darn!
my summer reading is often turning to old favorites, like LOTR and Watership Down. I have a tradition of re-reading those books in the summer.
That’s an awesome tradition Rachel! One summer my writing group decided to read a classic and we picked Jane Eyre. It’s turned out to be one of my favourite books.
My favorite summer reads are Profile of Fear by Alexa Grace and Mr. Perfect by JA Huss!
Thanks for the recommendations, Barrie! These are new-to-me authors so heading off to check them out!
This is such a freat giveaway!!
Thanks Debra!
I meant to say – This is such a great giveaway!!

Reading Ink and Bone by Rachel Caine for our book club
Great pick, Mary! Checked it out and the blurb had me at Great Library. Sounds like a wonderful read!
All of them. I love to read and have no particular one. Just as many as I can this summer!
A reader after my own heart! May summer hold many, many great books, Amy!
New books by Jill Shalvis, Susan Mallery, Nora Roberts to name just a few. Still have to work so that does cut into my reading time!!
Nora Roberts’ first book in her new trilogy is on my to-be-read list too, Sandy. Hope you find some spare moments to get those books read.
I have been such a bad reader lately but I hope to finish The Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon by Summer’s End.
I’ve read the first three, Donna! I can’t think of a finer way to spend then reading moments then with a book written by Diana Gabaldon.
