So, with the windchill, it feels like -45 degrees outside this morning. Yep, you read that correctly. Does it matter at this point that’s Celsius not Fahrenheit. Nope, didn’t think so. It’s okay though, it’s supposed to warm up to -35 by this afternoon.
If you didn’t know we have some unique Canadian clothing companies here that know about staying warm. Here’s a little bit of Canada for you on a frigid cold day!

Yep, when you get to -40 it doesn’t matter if you’re using the Celsius or Fahrenheit scale – they’re the same. I just took my dog out for a walk because she was bugging me to go. It took forever for both of us to get dressed – she has to wear boots at these temperatures – and she walked half a block, stopped, and turned for home. She’s no fool!
Love the jacket from Canada Goose. It’s always a challenge to find winter wear that keeps you warm while still looking good. As Dean Brody sings in “Canadian Girl”, you know you’re a real Canadian when your man thinks you look sexy in a toque!
Smart dog! But I guess life goes on and we must go out. I’d love a Canada Goose jacket too. They look so nice and toasty warm. I love Dean Brody and I love song. It usually finds it’s way onto my book playlist! Stay warm and wear your toque!
Brrrrr. Okay, I won’t complain any more ever about it going down to 1 degree F tonight. I’d be wearing all of the above – over several layers of other warm things… inside the house. Holy crapadoodle.
Stay warm and stay safe. :hugs:
It’s chilly, all right. My son heard on the radio yesterday that somewhere in Saskatchewan was tied for the second coldest place on earth. It keeps things interesting.
