I’m guest blogging today at the Regency World of Author Lesley-Anne McLeod today and having a blast. Even though I’m a contemporary writer, I love history. Stop by and check the history of the area that was the inspiration for my fictional town, Aspen Lake. Hear about fox hunts and cricket matches on the wild, barren 19th century barely civilized prairies.
Lesley-Anne is also a co-collaborator on The Storytellers’ Bouquet which you can download for free here. It includes four free short stories, including mine titled Waiting for Mason.
I don’t know what the weather’s like where you live, but here on the Prairies it’s cold and windy. A great day for curling up with a good book and a cup of something hot. I’m still touring around on my virtual book tour with Goddess Fish Promotions, so if you want to take that cup of steaming hot whatever and visit that would be awesome.
My iPod’s in it’s dock and right now I’m listening to Chris De Burgh. I must be in the mood for songs that tell a story and De Burgh is a master. The music and the wind are inspiring me today and I’m going to channel that cloudy, edgy feeling.
Day 5 of my Goddess Fish Promotions from my romantic suspense, Backlash, takes me to Claire Ashgrove‘s blog, The Muse. I’m talking about the emotional journey of my characters, Chase and Lily and how that effects their happily-ever-after. Join me for a chance to win a $25 GC to Amazon.
Well, it’s Day 3 and things are going great! Today’s stop is Rogues Angels. Stop on by and read my interview. I’ll be pulling the name of one commenter at the end of the tour to win a $25 GC from Amazon! So, don’t forget to include your email address with your comment.

I’m in two places at once today! Which could actually be true if I were a subatomic particle. Ha, and you thought I knew nothing of quantum mechanics. Proof TV is educational. Thank you, Sheldon, Leonard, Raj, and Howard!
First, I’m visiting Live to Read and talking about memorable characters.
Add to that, this book is fabulous on the suspense side. Lots of high-stakes danger, really evil bad guys (super-creepy spider tattoo guy), and it kept me guessing how the author was going to resolve it all till the very end. Overall this was a fabulous book and definitely one that reminds me why I LOVE to read! Perfect entertainment and escape!
Backlash is now up on Goodreads! Go ahead and add it! Really, I’m not above begging. Obviously!
